John Bonina
In a case of John Boninas, the
Appellate Division, First Department granted plaintiffs
Cross Motion and ruled that the continuous course
of treatment doctrine applied to extend the Statute
of Limitations in Marun v. Coleburn, 739 N.Y.S.2d
22, despite a nearly 2 year hiatus in visits to the
defendant doctor. We consider this an important victory
for all plaintiffs in failure to diagnose cases, as
it clarifies a Statute of Limitations issue and extends
the time in which many plaintiffs can sue.
John Bonina was appointed to the Executive Committee
of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association.

Andrea Bonina
Andrea
Bonina was elected Treasurer of the Bay Ridge Lawyers
Association. The Bay Ridge Lawyers Association is
the largest neighborhood Bar Association in New York
State.
