PREMISES ACTIONS
Property owners are responsible for maintaining their premises in a safe condition so that people using the property can do so without fear of injury.

When property owners rent apartments or office space they are still responsible for keeping common areas of the buildings well lit, clean, secure and safe.

If a person is injured because of a fall on unsafe stairs, slipping on debris or other materials in halls or on stairs, or as a result of a failure or a lack of security in a building they may have a valid claim against the owners. In situations where injuries occur because of faulty elevators or loading platforms a valid claim may exist as well.

The Med Law team has a special unit which handles general negligence claims arising out of the negligent maintenance of buildings. We have successfully represented plaintiffs on all types of premises actions.

If you or a loved one was injured as a result of a poorly maintained building, you should contact the Med Law team for a free phone consultation at :1 - 888 - MEDLAW 1.
